Keep moving to help keep you healthy and feeling good.  The key to keeping up with regular exercise is making it fun and varied.  On this page are lots of fun yoga and exercise ideas demonstrated in 2 to 5 minute videos courtesy of the BBC.

 

YOGA:  Learn a full yoga routine and become more flexible. Learn to touch your toes by building on your flexibility daily. Strengthen your core muscles, back muscles, legs and arms.  Ease tension throughout your body.  Get better awareness of your body; improve your balance and posture; learn to get closer to the floor to strengthen your hips and bum muscles.  

 

DANCING:  Learn a new dance routine which can be used anywhere to your favourite music.  Loosen up your joints by dancing to a 70s disco classic.

 

SKIPPING:  Skip for up to five minutes a day to help you get fitter, boost your mood and improve your hand-eye coordination.   Move onto skipping with one foot and then progress to skipping a little faster or lifting your feet higher.
